Radio traffic spiked when dispatchers put out a "regional officer in need of aid" alert, calling units to the 1500 block of Cascade Lane. Crime-scene tape later stretched across Cascade Lane where it meets Windswept Farms Drive, and witnesses reported hearing several gunshots in the area, according to KSDK.
