Gunfire in northeast Memphis on Tuesday night left one man fighting for his life, after officers followed a trail of calls and evidence across two nearby blocks, police said.
According to the Memphis Police Department, officers first responded to a shots-fired call in the 6600 block of W Quailbrook Cove, then later found a seriously injured man in the 6400 block of Honeybrook Road, the department told FOX13 Memphis. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital and was listed in critical condition, the station reported. As the investigation unfolded, detectives stayed on scene into the evening, collecting evidence and speaking with residents.
