A late-night fight in south Phoenix turned into a shooting that left a teenager and two adults seriously hurt near 35th Avenue and Baseline Road, authorities said.
Phoenix police said officers were called to the area around 11 p.m. Friday for reports of a disturbance and gunfire. When they arrived, they found two victims at the scene, one adult and one teenage juvenile. According to ABC15 Arizona, both were taken by the Phoenix Fire Department to a nearby hospital. A third victim, an adult, had already been taken to a hospital before officers got there.
All three were described as having serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police had not released any details on possible suspects or what led up to the gunfire.
Scene and context
The shooting is the latest in a stretch of violence along the Baseline corridor this month. On June 13, a triple shooting at a home near 7th Avenue and Baseline Road left one person dead and two others injured, according to Arizona's Family. That earlier attack intensified concerns among residents about safety in south Phoenix.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about the latest shooting to contact Phoenix police or submit an anonymous tip to Silent Witness at 480‑WITNESS (480‑948‑6377), or for Spanish speakers, 480‑TESTIGO (480‑837‑8446). Silent Witness also provides an online tip form where community members can share videos or other evidence while remaining anonymous.
Investigation ongoing
Detectives are still working the case and have not identified a motive or released suspect information. ABC15 Arizona reported that officers and crime scene technicians stayed on scene late into Friday night collecting evidence.
