A late night stabbing in Dorchester left a man with life threatening injuries Friday, after he was found bleeding on Bailey Street and rushed to a nearby hospital. Boston police say the investigation is ongoing and, so far, officials have not released the victim’s name or any details about a possible suspect.
According to WHDH, officers responding to a report of a stabbing in the area of 88 Bailey St. around 11:45 p.m. found a man suffering from stab wounds. Police arranged for him to be taken to a local hospital for treatment of life threatening injuries, and detectives remained at the scene as they began their work. The station reports that no further information was immediately available.

The late night call comes during a rough stretch of violent incidents in parts of Dorchester. NBC10 Boston reported a separate stabbing on Waldeck Street earlier this week that sent a person to a local hospital, and local outlets have tracked several shootings and assaults across the neighborhood.
