Honolulu police are investigating a late-night killing at a Mililani residence after a young man was shot and killed during what officers believe was a robbery late Thursday. The victim, described by authorities as in his late teens to early 20s, was shot at about 11:45 p.m.

According to Hawaii News Now, Honolulu police say the shooting happened during an apparent robbery and that the suspects fled in a light-colored pickup truck, possibly a Toyota Tacoma. Investigators described the suspects as two men wearing white shirts and one wearing a dark-colored hoodie, the outlet reports. The case has been assigned to the Honolulu Police Department’s Homicide Detail as detectives process the scene and search for leads.
