Vicious Biscuit, the Southern-style biscuit and brunch chain, is set to open its second Northeast Ohio location on Monday, June 22, launching a weeklong run of community events and giveaways. The stand-alone spot, taking over the former Fiesta Jalapenos building at 4136 Pearl Road, clocks in at roughly 3,778 square feet and seats 102 guests inside, with room for another 36 diners on the outdoor patio. Daily hours are listed as 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Franchise partner Carl Albright, who brought the brand to the region with a 2024 Montrose/Akron opening, is leading the Medina project with partners Dave Ost and Ken Troutman, according to QSR Magazine. The chain, founded in 2017 in South Carolina, has grown to roughly a dozen locations and leans heavily on scratch-made biscuits and its signature “Jam Bar,” per the company. The Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce will host an 11:30 a.m. ribbon-cutting on June 26, and the grand-opening day on June 27 will feature a drawing that will award first buyers a complimentary entree each month for 12 months.
