Two teenagers were wounded early Monday when gunfire ripped into a house in east Akron, according to police. Officers were called just before 1 a.m. to the 900 block of McKinley Avenue after neighbors reported multiple shots. An 18-year-old woman was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, and a 14-year-old boy was also hospitalized for treatment.
Multiple Rounds Fired Into Home, Suspects Flee
Akron police say preliminary evidence shows multiple rounds were fired into the residence. Witnesses told officers they saw suspects take off in an unknown vehicle as police processed the scene.
