A Hall County home turned into a crime scene Wednesday evening when two people were found shot inside, according to Oakwood police. Officers were called to the 3900 block of Prospect Point Drive shortly before 7 p.m., where they discovered a man and a woman suffering from gunshot wounds.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman was taken to a hospital, where she later died. Oakwood police described the shooting as apparently domestic in nature and said there is no ongoing threat to the public.
