According to Boston 25 News, the Federal Aviation Administration reported that the Sonex crashed at about 12:30 p.m. at Jaffrey Airfield Silver Ranch. The agency confirmed the pilot was flying solo and said additional details would come later, once investigators had more to go on.
This marks the second recent crash at the small airpark. Records compiled from NTSB listings and posted on TallyAero's Atlas show that an RV-7 flipped while attempting to land at Jaffrey on May 21, sending two people to the hospital in that earlier incident.
