Two women and two men were at the house when an argument turned physical and quickly spiraled. During the struggle, the suspect pulled out a handgun and fired one round, hitting one of the men; officers said the injury was not believed to be life-threatening. The suspect then ran from the scene but was found and taken into custody a short time later near the home.
According to News 4 San Antonio, the disturbance broke out just after 4 a.m. Monday. Police told the station that a man and two women were already inside the home when another man arrived, and all four ended up in the middle of the fight. The three people at the house tried to defend themselves with a machete, while the arriving man pulled a handgun and fired a single shot.

Police say the investigation into Monday’s incident is still underway and they have not yet released formal charges, according to News 4 San Antonio.
