
Four men are facing charges after a deadly shooting at a BP station in West Memphis that left a 22-year-old man dead on Sunday. Officers found the victim near the entrance of the store with multiple gunshot wounds, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Within 48 hours, a mix of arrests and voluntary turn-ins followed as detectives fast-tracked the case.
As reported by LocalMemphis, police said all four suspects are wanted on counts that include first-degree murder, a terroristic act, and aggravated assault. Two suspects, ages 22 and 20, were taken into custody the night of the shooting, while two others, ages 21 and 18, turned themselves in to detectives on Tuesday.

Authorities identified the victim as 22-year-old Dermarius Smith, according to reporting from WATN-TV. Officials said Smith was found near the store entrance with multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The shooting took place at the BP at 906 Ingram Boulevard in West Memphis, where officers responded on Sunday night. Detectives with the West Memphis Police Department said they are reviewing surveillance video and cellphone footage and have asked anyone with information to contact the department as they work to piece together what happened in the moments before the gunfire.
