Airport Way's Recent Crash History
That stretch of Airport Way has seen more than its share of serious wrecks in recent years. In December 2025, a fatal collision there was later linked to stolen copper wiring that knocked out traffic signals, an incident previously covered as a deadly Airport Way crash. Those earlier collisions have fueled calls from residents and safety advocates for stronger protection for traffic signals and broader intersection safety upgrades.
