Fiorenza Italian quietly opened last Saturday in Alpharetta, slipping a slice of Tuscany into the Webb Bridge shopping center with a lineup of house-made pastas, classic antipasti and a shareable Florentine steak. The restaurant is owned by local couple Jessi and Brooke Qilafi and aims to work as both a weeknight neighborhood spot and a destination for celebrations.
Jessi Qilafi, who grew up in Florence, said dining there "is more than just food, it is about tradition, family, and creating memories," according to Appen Media. The outlet reports the couple marked a soft opening on June 27 before easing into regular service.
Menu Rooted In Tuscany
The menu follows a traditional Italian progression of antipasti, primi, secondi, contorni and dolci, with a strong focus on fresh, house-made pastas such as pappardelle al ragù and pici cacio e pepe, as listed on Fiorenza Italian. For groups looking to splurge, a large-format Bistecca alla Fiorentina is built for sharing, and the kitchen rotates seasonal specials and weekly pastas designed to highlight Tuscan flavors.
Kitchen And Bar Team
Executive chef Eugene Thompson, a culinary veteran who has worked at Oak Steakhouse, Davio’s and Zakia, leads the line and shapes the restaurant's blend of steakhouse technique and Italian tradition, according to The Atlanta Journal‑Constitution. On the beverage side, Jesus Ramirez oversees the program, pairing Italian wines with a modern cocktail list. His resume includes time at Palo Santo, Cooks & Soldiers and Storico Fresco, Dish Around Town reports.
Where To Go And What To Expect
Fiorenza occupies a storefront in the Agincourt retail center on Webb Bridge Way, and the owners say the dining room seats about 90 people with additional patio seating, per Business Debut. Dinner hours, a phone number (470-359-6558) and reservations through OpenTable are posted on the restaurant's site, where guests can also view menus and event options, according to Fiorenza Italian.
The Qilafis say they want Fiorenza to feel just as right for an everyday family dinner as it does for a big milestone night. Local outlets have already flagged the restaurant as one of Alpharetta’s summer openings to watch, citing its tight Tuscan focus and wine-forward program, as What Now Atlanta reports. Expect approachable pastas during the week and, for special occasions, the 32-ounce Bistecca alla Fiorentina waiting on the menu.
