Officers were called around 9:15 p.m. to the 3100 block of Brookdale Drive North after the witness reported the assault. Police located the vehicle and tried to initiate a traffic stop, but the driver refused to pull over and took off, with the victim possibly still inside. The Minnesota State Patrol assisted from the air as officers followed the car until it ultimately stopped and the suspect was taken into custody, according to KSTP.
