Brunch lovers along FM 1463 are getting another excuse to linger over coffee. The Toasted Yolk Cafe, a Houston-born breakfast chain, is lining up a new spot in the Katy-Fulshear corridor, adding a sit-down breakfast and lunch option to a suburban retail strip that keeps getting busier.
The plan surfaced publicly in a press release for a unit at 6727 FM 1463, Ste. 150, which noted the brand had grown to 11 Greater Houston locations and had additional sites in its sights in Cypress and Beaumont. That announcement was reported by Community Impact on January 13, 2020.
Today the chain's own location pages list a Fulshear address (6727 FM 1463 Ste #150, Katy, TX 77494) on its Fulshear location page, with daily hours, a phone number, and online ordering and waitlist tools, per Toasted Yolk. The same listing also appears in local directory sites such as Tripadvisor.
Toasted Yolk's Texas push
Local coverage shows the brand expanding beyond Greater Houston this year, including a Missouri City debut in June and an El Paso opening in May. Taken together, those rollouts underscore a broader growth strategy across Texas, with Katy-Fulshear folded into a much bigger brunch play.

Leasing materials for the Crossing at Katy-Fulshear show a retail lineup at the northeast corner of FM 1093 and FM 1463 that lists Toasted Yolk among planned tenants. The shopping-center brochure places the cafe in a visible corner of the strip and matches the FM 1463 address noted in earlier reports, according to Read King.
For opening timing and reservations, the brand's online waitlist and ordering pages remain the best guide, and locals can keep an eye on the chain's location listings for updates. The company also operates a nearby Katy cafe at 98 W. Grand Parkway S #100, per its Katy location page on Toasted Yolk.
