Knox County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the wreck involving a motorcycle and an SUV, according to WVLT. The motorcycle operator was pronounced dead at the scene. The 9-year-old passenger was rushed to the University of Tennessee Medical Center, where the SUV driver was also transported, and both were reported in critical condition. Two days later, the department reported another deadly motorcycle crash at Tillery Drive in a separate update from the Knoxville Police Department.
Those earlier wrecks were separate incidents, and the latest investigation is being led by the Knox County Sheriff’s Office. In the initial report, the 9-year-old passenger and the SUV driver from Tuesday’s crash remained in critical condition.
