
A deadly collision involving a car and a semi-truck left one person dead and sent two others to a hospital Friday morning just west of the Las Vegas Strip. The crash brought LVMPD's Fatal Detail to the scene, with the circumstances still unclear.
The crash was reported around 9:10 a.m. near Highland Drive and Edna Avenue, close to Sammy Davis Jr. Drive and Desert Inn Road, according to KSNV. One occupant was pronounced dead at the scene, while two others were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
