Atlanta detectives are asking the public to help track down a woman seen on surveillance footage who they say stabbed a 63-year-old during an argument along Decatur Street SE, then walked away as the victim was rushed to the hospital.
Investigators say the confrontation happened on June 11 near 424 Decatur St. SE. Officers arrived to find a 63-year-old woman suffering from stab wounds. She was taken to a hospital, where police say she is in stable condition. Detectives later pulled surveillance video that shows a blonde woman in an orange shirt grabbing a screwdriver and confronting the victim before the attack.

According to FOX 5 Atlanta, officers responded to 424 Decatur St. SE on June 11 and found the 63-year-old with stab wounds. The Atlanta Police Department's Aggravated Assault Unit later released surveillance stills that appear to show an unidentified blonde woman in an orange shirt holding a screwdriver and squaring up with the victim.
Those images are now at the center of the investigation as APD circulates them citywide, hoping someone recognizes the suspect.
