Denver police are searching for an aggravated robbery suspect after an incident at a business near Leetsdale Drive and Monaco Parkway, putting a familiar southeast Denver intersection at the center of an active investigation.
A CBS News Colorado report identified the location but provided few additional details. The online report did not identify the business, describe the suspect, or say whether anyone was injured.
Police Have Not Released A Suspect Description
That leaves the immediate picture unusually spare as investigators work to determine what happened and who they are looking for. No arrest, suspect name, or public statement about a possible weapon was included in the report available Thursday.
Separate Robbery Investigation Hit Leetsdale Earlier This Year
The Leetsdale corridor has also appeared in a separate Denver robbery investigation this year. In February, Hoodline reported that police were seeking a man after an alleged lunchtime robbery in the 7100 block of Leetsdale Drive, with investigators highlighting a maroon Adidas backpack and a possible reward for information. There is no indication in the available reporting that the February case and Thursday's incident are connected.
