Police: Woman Reported Shooting, Taken Into Custody
Before officers even pulled up, the woman had already called police and reported that she had shot someone, investigators said. She was taken into custody without incident.
"This is an unfortunate situation, and our hearts and thoughts go out to the family of the deceased subject," Doraville Police Chief Jason Deyette said, according to WSB‑TV.
Police have not yet released the names of either the victim or the suspect.

Investigation Underway
Police say officers were called around 10:35 a.m. and tried to provide medical aid, but the man was already dead at the scene. Investigators said he had been shot in the neck.
Officers recovered a firearm they believe was used in the shooting and arrested the woman at the scene. The DeKalb County Police Crime Scene Investigations unit is assisting with evidence collection and processing, and the case remains under active investigation, according to WSB‑TV.
