A 35-year-old man was wounded in an early-morning drive-by shooting Tuesday inside the Wentworth Gardens public-housing complex on the South Side. Police say the gunfire erupted around 2:28 a.m. on the 3700 block of South Wells Street when someone in a dark-colored vehicle opened fire.
