The Grand Parkway Trouble Spot
The shooting happened along the Grand Parkway corridor in unincorporated Harris County, where SH-99 meets Farm-to-Market Road 529. It is a stretch known for serious traffic incidents and emergency closures in recent years, including a previous hazardous materials spill from overturned 18-wheeler that choked traffic on the toll road.
