Falmouth police say an early-morning disturbance call on East Falmouth Highway turned into a sizeable drug bust over the holiday weekend, with officers seizing roughly 120 grams of suspected cocaine, hallucinogens, steroids and $3,172 in cash from a home on the busy stretch of Route 28. Investigators also reported finding cutting agents, plastic baggies and a digital scale, items they say are consistent with drug distribution. The resident, 30-year-old Jason Hendricks-Tobey of Falmouth, was taken into custody, arraigned Monday in Falmouth District Court and ordered held pending further proceedings.
Early Disturbance Call Turns Into Search Warrant
According to the Falmouth Police Department, officers were first dispatched to 669 East Falmouth Highway in the early hours of July 4 for a reported disturbance. During that response, investigators say they developed probable cause that led them to seek a search warrant for both the residence and a vehicle at the scene. The Barnstable County Sheriff's Office assisted, and K9 Kepo was brought in to help search the property, the department said.

As reported by Boston 25, officers say the search turned up about 120 grams of cocaine inside the home, along with hallucinogens and steroids. Police also reported seizing cutting agents, plastic baggies and a digital scale, items commonly associated with packaging and selling narcotics, plus $3,172 in cash that investigators say is often linked to street-level distribution. Charges, Court Appearance And Ongoing Case
According to the Falmouth Police Department, the suspect was identified as Jason Hendricks-Tobey, age 30, of Falmouth. He is charged with trafficking in cocaine, possession of a Class C substance and possession of a Class E substance. Police say Hendricks-Tobey was arraigned Monday in Falmouth District Court, where a judge ordered him held pending further proceedings. Authorities noted that the investigation remains active and asked anyone with additional information to contact the department.
