Deputies arrested the teen without incident and booked him into the El Paso County Detention Facility on an outstanding charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, the sheriff said.

The sheriff's post says investigators obtained an arrest warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, then located the suspect on Monday in the 2000 block of Cypress Avenue and took him into custody without incident.
The sheriff's account identifies the suspect as 18-year-old Rodriguez and states that he was transported to the El Paso County Detention Facility. “Rodriguez was booked on the outstanding charge,” the post notes, adding that his bond was set at $300,000.
