
Four people were shot in Aliquippa and rushed to area hospitals, according to police. Officers who responded to the scene provided aid at the location until medics arrived. After the Aliquippa Police Department requested assistance, the Pennsylvania State Police took over the investigation.
State Police Take Over The Probe
Officers were called to the 300 block of Linmar Terrace, where they found four people with gunshot wounds and had them transported to hospitals for treatment. Troopers had not identified a suspect as the investigation continued, leaving a lot of unanswered questions and a shaken neighborhood.
Linmar Terrace Has Seen Repeated Gunfire
Local reporting shows Linmar Terrace and nearby blocks have been the scene of several shootings this year, including a June attack that riddled a delivery van. Gunfire Riddles Delivery Van documented that incident, and WTAE reported another June call where a woman allegedly fired a weapon during a fight near Linmar Terrace. Residents say the recurring violence has left neighbors on edge and fed a growing sense of unease along the block.
Police Ask For Tips And Footage
Authorities said there were no arrests and urged anyone with information, dash-cam video or doorbell footage to contact the Pennsylvania State Police Beaver barracks at 724-773-7400.
