
A Tuesday evening in Frayser turned violent when a boy was shot and critically wounded on Tulsa Avenue, according to police. Officers were called to the 1900 block of Tulsa Avenue around 7 p.m. on July 7, where they found the juvenile suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a hospital and remained in critical condition.

The Memphis Police Department arrived to find the boy injured by gunfire and quickly had him transported to the hospital in critical condition, FOX13 Memphis reported. According to the outlet, investigators processed the scene and spoke with witnesses in the area as they worked to piece together what led up to the shooting. Police had not released any suspect information at the time of that report.
