
A man was shot multiple times outside a Minneapolis business late Wednesday, suffering potentially life-threatening injuries as the shooter fled into the night.
Officers responded to the area near East Lake Street just before midnight and found the victim outside a business, according to 5 Eyewitness News. He was taken to Hennepin Healthcare, where investigators said Thursday morning that his gunshot wounds remained potentially life-threatening.
Police Have Not Announced An Arrest
Minneapolis police have not said what led up to the shooting, and no arrests had been made as of Thursday morning. The suspect fled the scene, leaving investigators to piece together what happened from evidence and witness accounts.
Anonymous Tips Can Be Submitted
Anyone with information can submit an anonymous tip through CrimeStoppers of Minnesota at 1-800-222-TIPS, according to the City of Minneapolis. The city also directs residents to call 911 for emergencies and 311 for non-emergency concerns.
