Overnight gunfire on Mount Moriah Road in southeast Memphis left one person wounded early Friday, according to police. Officers arrived to find a shooting victim who was taken to a hospital. According to WREG, officers were called to the 2400 block of Mount Moriah Road at about 12:44 a.m. The victim was transported for treatment, and police did not provide any suspect descriptions or details on possible arrests. Detectives remained on scene and asked anyone who knows something about the shooting to come forward.
