A pre-dawn shooting in South Baltimore's Brooklyn neighborhood left a man fighting for his life early Saturday, according to city police.
Officers were called to the 500 block of Freeman Street at about 3:14 a.m., where they found an unidentified male suffering from apparent life-threatening gunshot wounds. Medics rushed him to a nearby hospital for treatment, police said. Homicide detectives were notified as Southern District investigators responded to the scene and began combing the area for witnesses.
