An early morning stabbing at a North Portland intersection sent one person to the hospital Monday and left a suspect in custody, according to police. Officers were called to North Fessenden Street and North Wall Avenue just after 4 a.m., where they found a wounded victim who was taken to a hospital with injuries that are not expected to be life-threatening. Portland police told KATU that officers responded to the intersection shortly after 4 a.m. and found a person suffering from a stab wound. “Fortunately, the injuries do not appear to be life‑threatening,” Portland police spokesperson Mike Benner said to KATU. One suspect was arrested at the scene and taken into custody, but police have not released any identifying details.
