Police are asking for the public’s help after a 29-year-old man was shot late Tuesday night in Jamaica, and two suspects vanished into the streets near the Sutphin transit hub.
The shooting happened around 10 p.m. on July 14 near the northeast corner of Sutphin Boulevard and 95 Avenue, according to investigators. Police say two people walked up to the victim, one pulled a firearm from a backpack and fired, and both suspects then ran off east on 95 Avenue. Detectives later released images of the pair and urged anyone who recognizes them to speak up.

According to a wanted notice posted by NYPD Crime Stoppers on X, the two unidentified individuals approached the 29-year-old on the northeast corner of Sutphin Boulevard and 95 Avenue. One removed a firearm from a backpack and fired before the pair fled eastbound along 95 Avenue.
