Police in Riverdale are trying to track down a man and a woman caught on camera just before a parked car erupted in flames Thursday afternoon in the Super H Mart parking lot along Highway 85.
Clayton County firefighters quickly knocked down the fire before it could spread, and no one was hurt. Surveillance footage shows the pair walking around the vehicle moments before it ignited, then heading into nearby woods. Investigators have released the video and say the two are wanted for questioning.
Surveillance clip at center of arson probe
Investigators said the fire broke out shortly after 1 p.m. outside the Super H Mart at 6335 Highway 85. Surveillance cameras captured a man and a woman near the vehicle just before it ignited, according to FOX 5 Atlanta.
Police have not publicly identified the pair, and they have not announced any motive. The case remains an active arson investigation as detectives comb through surveillance and other leads.

Clayton County Fire & Emergency Services crews responded to the scene and extinguished the blaze before it could spread beyond the vehicle.
