Friday night will stay clear, with temperatures dropping to around 63 degrees. Saturday and Sunday will be sunny and dry, while overnight lows remain in the mid-60s; the forecast calls for no rain through Thursday.
Monday Could Be The Hottest Day
Monday is forecast to peak near 105 degrees before temperatures ease slightly to around 100 Tuesday, 98 Wednesday and 99 Thursday. Friday's hottest stretch is expected from midafternoon into early evening, with hourly temperatures reaching the upper 90s by 3 p.m.

The National Weather Service expects widespread Moderate HeatRisk across the Sacramento Valley and foothills from Friday into next week. Its regional forecast discussion also flags elevated fire-weather conditions in the northern Sacramento Valley and surrounding terrain through Monday because of hot temperatures, very low humidity and periodically breezy winds.
Winds in Sacramento should remain mostly light Friday at 1 to 5 mph, but stronger regional gusts of 15 to 25 mph could develop from late Saturday afternoon into Sunday and again Sunday evening into Monday. No watches, warnings or advisories are listed for the Sacramento forecast zone.
