San Diego’s waterfront is getting another full-throated mariachi takeover this fall, complete with folklórico dancers and a fireworks finale over the bay. MARIACHI USA returns to The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park on September 26, promising four hours of music, movement and plenty of trumpet-powered drama.

The concert begins at 6 p.m., with pre-festival activities starting earlier in the afternoon. According to NBC 7 San Diego, the event is expected to draw audiences from across Southern California and beyond, and tickets are already on sale through Ticketmaster and the venue box office.

A Four-Hour Mariachi Showcase By The Bay

The 2026 lineup includes Mariachi Internacional de México, Mariachi Divas de Cindy Shea, Mariachi Premiere and Mariachi Las Castinas. The festival also features folklórico ballet and a sky-lit fireworks finale, according to the Mariachi USA organizers, who say the event was founded by Rodri Entertainment in 1990.

This will be MARIACHI USA’s second year at The Rady Shell, where the open-air setting gives the performance a particularly San Diego finish: live music onstage, the harbor behind it and fireworks waiting for the final note. The Rady Shell lists doors and pre-festival activities at 2:30 p.m., with the main event scheduled for 6 p.m.; Ticketmaster says the show is open to all ages.
