A Saturday night shooting in West Baltimore turned deadly when a man was gunned down on North Payson Street, according to police. Officers were called to the 200 block of North Payson Street around 9:40 p.m., where they found a man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Medics rushed him to a nearby hospital, but he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation.
As reported by FOX45, officers responded after callers reported gunfire and arrived to find the victim on North Payson Street. The station noted the call came in at about 9:40 p.m. and that medics transported the wounded man to a hospital, where staff pronounced him dead.
