Shaquille O’Neal, the Hall of Famer better known in the booth as DJ Diesel, is rolling his Texas tour into El Paso this fall for a one-night DJ set that is built to rattle walls. He is booked for 11:11 on Sept. 17, part of a multi-city Texas run that also hits San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas, with tickets scheduled to go on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m.
According to the El Paso Times, O’Neal is slated to perform at 11:11 on Sept. 17, and doors are listed to open at 9 p.m. The paper reports that tickets will be released through the promoter’s usual channels at 10 a.m. Wednesday and notes that the El Paso appearance sits alongside the San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas dates on the tour routing.
“I usually come to Texas once a year for my festival… but this year we’re mixing it up and doing a full Texas takeover,” O’Neal wrote on Instagram, as quoted by the El Paso Times. The post frames the string of dates as a bigger push into Texas rather than a quick festival drop-in.
