South Fulton police this week released a forensic sketch and are asking the public to help put a name to a man whose body was found in an abandoned building more than a year ago. Investigators say the remains are too degraded for routine identification, so they are banking on the drawing to shake loose new leads.
According to Atlanta News First, officers were called to 845 Seliq Drive on July 22, 2025, where they found a man's body inside an abandoned structure. Police say no foul play is suspected, but the condition of the remains has prevented investigators from determining his identity.
A Georgia Bureau of Investigation forensic artist prepared the sketch released by police; officials described the subject as a white male between about 29 and 59 years old and roughly 5-foot-5 to 6-feet tall.
