According to the Phoenix Business Journal, Spinato's has officially inked the lease and circled 2027 as the target year for opening. The outlet also noted that the chain recently moved one of its existing restaurants into a larger, more modern space, a sign that Spinato's is not exactly in slowdown mode.

The City of Goodyear reports that the new Spinato's will land near 150th Drive and McDowell Road inside GSQ. In a city news release, Mayor Joe Pizzillo called Spinato's “a well-loved Arizona brand” and said residents specifically asked for the pizzeria in the city's retail survey, effectively putting some official weight behind the community’s pizza cravings.
GSQ's growing roster
Arizona Foothills and other local coverage say GSQ is quickly filling up with grocers, sit-down restaurants and service tenants as developers work toward a walkable downtown district. Announced and recently opened names range from Trader Joe's and First Watch to Kura Revolving Sushi Bar, with larger tenants and additional national chains still on the way.
