The Dallas Stars are kicking off their 2026-27 campaign in style, opening at home on Friday, Oct. 2 against the St. Louis Blues and circling a massive Stadium Series showdown with the Vegas Golden Knights at AT&T Stadium in Arlington on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2027. North Texas fans get a front-loaded slate at American Airlines Center along with a marquee outdoor date on the national stage next winter.

According to the NHL, the regular season officially starts when St. Louis visits American Airlines Center on Oct. 2. The club also flagged a home-friendly October that includes a six-game homestand later in the month, and confirmed that the Feb. 20 Stadium Series game in Arlington is locked in, complete with national broadcast windows attached to the event.

Tickets for Stars home dates are not on sale to the general public yet. Presales will roll out first to Victory Club members, official app users and Stars Insiders before wider on-sales begin. The team is also sweetening the schedule drop with a sweepstake that will award two tickets to a regular-season matchup of the winner’s choice. As reported by NBC 5 Dallas-Fort-Worth, entries close next Sunday at 11:59 p.m. CT.

Stadium Series At AT&T Stadium

The outdoor clash with the Golden Knights is locked for Saturday, Feb. 20, 2027 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, with puck drop set for a prime-time ABC window at 7 p.m. CT (8 p.m. ET), according to The Sporting News. AT&T Stadium has already hosted a Super Bowl, WrestleMania and FIFA matches, and now it will try its hand at turning an NFL palace into a temporary hockey cathedral with room for a massive crowd and the NHL’s outdoor production setup.

Tickets And Presales

Tickets for the Stadium Series showdown are already popping up on secondary markets, with SeatGeek listing seats for the Feb. 20 event at AT&T Stadium. For the regular season, local presales for games at American Airlines Center will again be offered first to Victory Club members, app users and Stars Insiders before single-game tickets go on sale to the general public.

For fans in North Texas, the calendar delivers plenty right away: a compact, home-heavy October that features a six-game homestand from Oct. 20 to 31, plus crowd-pleasing holiday slots like a Thanksgiving-weekend game and a New Year’s Eve matchup.
