A walk along a Henning trail turned deadly Monday when a man was attacked and killed by several stray dogs near the old Palmer Turner School in Lauderdale County. Deputies said they found the victim on the path and have not yet released his identity as they continue to gather evidence.
According to the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to the area of 655 S. Church Street, where they discovered the wounded man. Surveillance video reportedly shows a dog running in the victim's direction shortly before he was found, according to WREG.
