According to KSHB 41, officers were called to North 50th Terrace and State Avenue just after 10:30 p.m. Police said the riders collided with a vehicle turning north onto North 50th Terrace. One rider died at the scene, while a second was hospitalized in critical condition.

The third motorbike operator and the driver of the other vehicle were not hurt, police said. The Kansas City, Kansas Police Department says its Traffic Support Unit manages crash scenes and works roughly 700 accidents each year.
