
A man was shot in the lower body outside a west Phoenix home early Friday, sending police into a neighborhood near 37th and Georgia avenues as investigators searched for the shooter.
Phoenix police were called to the area around 3 a.m., north of Camelback Road. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to survive, according to an Arizona's Family report.

Shell Casings Found Across The Street
Part of the neighborhood was taped off while officers gathered evidence, with shell casings scattered across the street, the latest scene report said. Residents were asked to avoid the area while the investigation continued, and police have not said what led to the shooting.
