New Orleans just landed a late-summer stadium spectacle: Ye is bringing his 2026 tour to the Caesars Superdome on Aug. 28, with the show currently listed for an 8 p.m. start.
The artist's official tour page includes a New Orleans stop at Caesars Superdome on Aug. 28 and offers fans a presale sign-up, according to Ye. The Superdome's own event listing bills the date as "YE LIVE IN NEW ORLEANS" at 8 p.m. and shows general ticket sales opening July 17 at 10 a.m., per Caesars Superdome. Local outlets have already started beating the drum on the announcement, including coverage from FOX 8.
Chicago dates and routing
Chicago is getting a double-header on the same run, with two nights at Soldier Field on Sept. 3 and Sept. 4, according to the Soldier Field events page. Ticketmaster's artist listing points to multiple U.S. stadium dates for the "Ye Live" tour, sketching out a packed late-summer routing.
What the Superdome is telling fans
For New Orleans, the Superdome is already laying out the ground rules. The event page urges guests to secure advance parking and reminds fans that the venue uses a clear-bag policy and operates cashless for concessions and merchandise. It also provides box office contact information and directions for anyone mapping out their game plan.
Fans should not expect to bring everything inside, either. Prohibited items include recording devices, drones, confetti and other objects venue management deems unsafe, according to the event details.
Ye's return to large-scale stadium shows comes after a period of high-profile controversy and a wave of partner departures, chronicled by The Guardian. Earlier coverage of the artist's Tampa stop - which featured a local ticket giveaway that stirred plenty of buzz - highlighted the mix of excitement and scrutiny trailing this tour, as reported in Hoodline's story on the local ticket giveaway.
