
A 20-year-old man is in critical condition after a late-night shooting on the 5700 block of Wells in St. Louis, according to police. District 5 officers arrived shortly after midnight Sunday, found the wounded man, and had him taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Homicide detectives have since taken over the investigation.
Police seek witnesses
According to First Alert 4, District 5 officers were called to the area shortly after midnight and located the man suffering from a gunshot wound. The outlet reports he was transported to an area hospital, where he remains in critical condition, and that the case is now being handled by homicide detectives.
