Zach Bryan is about to turn Snapdragon Stadium into San Diego’s biggest weekend concert test, with back-to-back shows expected to bring a serious crowd to Mission Valley. The songs may be emotional, but the entry rules, parking crunch and phone-only tickets are strictly business.
The Friday and Saturday concerts start at 6:30 PM, with gates opening at 4:30 PM. The San Diego Union-Tribune reports that Bryan will be the first artist to headline Snapdragon Stadium for two consecutive nights.
The official Snapdragon Stadium event page lists Ryan Bingham and the Texas Gentlemen, along with Fey Fili, as the supporting acts. Bryan’s stage will sit in the center of the stadium field, giving the shows a circle-in-the-round setup rather than a traditional end-stage view.
Parking Is The Part To Take Seriously
The stadium parking lots open at 2:30 PM both days, and pre-purchased parking is strongly recommended because on-site spaces are limited and expected to sell out. Parking is listed at $60.30 per car and $241.05 per RV, according to The San Diego Union-Tribune.
Bring Your Phone And A Very Small Bag
Tickets are mobile-only, and screenshots or PDF printouts will not be accepted at the gates. Snapdragon Stadium’s official guest guide says the venue allows only clear bags up to 12 by 6 by 12 inches, a one-gallon clear freezer bag, or a small purse or clutch no larger than 4.5 by 6.5 inches.
The stadium will also operate as a cashless facility, so plan to use a card or mobile payment. For these specific concerts, bottles, cans and other containers are prohibited, including empty ones, although water and other drinks will be available inside.
Ticketmaster recommends opening the ticket in its app or adding it to a mobile wallet before leaving home, since the scannable barcode may not become available until roughly 48 hours before the event. Current listings show prices ranging from $168.20 to $465.20, though ticket availability and prices can change.
Know Your Exit Plan Before The Encore
Floor-ticket holders will receive a field-access wristband after their tickets are scanned and can enter sections 101 through 113. The shows have an 11 PM curfew, and post-concert rideshare pickup is planned for the Purple Lot, according to The San Diego Union-Tribune.
The simplest strategy is to download the ticket early, leave the oversized bag at home, buy parking before arriving and build in extra time for the gates. For anyone driving, arriving near the lot opening will likely be less stressful than trying to improvise after the opening acts have started.
