A 197-unit townhome community called Meadowside officially opened Tuesday in Miami Township, adding fresh housing stock to one of the fastest-growing corners of Clermont County. Built by Ryan Homes, the development sits at 1207 Crescent Drive and includes three- and four-bedroom townhomes with two-car garages and full basements.
The Clermont County, Ohio - Government announced the opening on Facebook, noting that Meadowside is expected to support construction employment, broaden the local tax base that funds public infrastructure and services, and contribute to regional economic growth even as it adds new demand for local services. County commissioners attended a grand-opening ribbon-cutting ceremony for the development, which was organized by the Clermont Chamber of Commerce on Monday at 11 a.m. at the Miami Township site.
Townhomes at Meadowside start in the low $300s and run up to $389,990, according to Redfin, with two floor plans spanning 1,775 to 2,646 square feet. The county government's post lists a Ryan Homes sales center phone number, 513-296-8627, for buyers interested in scheduling a visit, with appointment hours running Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from noon to 6 p.m., Sunday from noon to 5 p.m., and Monday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Open Space and a New Path to the Park
County development plans show the Villas at Meadowside occupy 32.04 acres, with 15.2 acres set aside as dedicated open space, per documents reviewed through the county's Community and Economic Development StoryMap. Initial construction plans for the project were approved in late 2025 and early 2026.
Miami Township trustees negotiated an agreement with the developer in May 2025 for a paved pedestrian and emergency path connecting Meadowside directly to Miami Meadows Park, with maintenance split between the township and the homeowners association at a gated demarcation point, according to township board minutes. The path was designed to accommodate emergency fire and EMS vehicles while doubling as a public trail. The government's Facebook post also notes that Meadowside residents will have access to Miami Meadows Park, the Old Milford riverfront district, local dining and entertainment, and Interstate 275.
A Growth Corridor With Top-Rated Schools
Meadowside falls within the Milford Exempted Village School District, which serves roughly 5,961 students and holds a 4.5-star overall rating on the Ohio State Report Card, according to Niche. The district regularly ranks among the top school systems in Clermont County, a detail likely to appeal to families weighing the move.
Ryan Homes operates as a major homebuilding division of NVR, Inc., a publicly traded homebuilding and mortgage banking company based in Reston, Virginia, and established in 1948, according to Danelfin. NVR also operates the NVHomes and Heartland Homes brands alongside Ryan Homes.
Part of a Broader Building Boom
Miami Township's estimated population reached 46,321 in 2026, with a median household income of $116,375 and an 83% homeownership rate, per World Population Review. The township's population has grown 5.35% since 2020. A regional development analysis from Connect Clermont found that Miami Township, Batavia Township, and Union Township together accounted for 94% of all population growth in Clermont County over the past decade, making Miami Township one of the county's primary growth corridors.
The Meadowside opening fits into a broader pattern Hoodline previously reported: Clermont County set a third consecutive annual permit record in 2025, issuing 6,156 total building permits, up from 5,869 in 2024 and 5,780 in 2023. That surge has also shown up elsewhere in the county, including a 555-home project replacing a former golf course in Goshen Township and new construction near Amelia for a veterans-focused housing development.
With Meadowside located near Interstate 275, the site sits within five miles of more than 300 commercial dining and retail businesses as well as the historic Old Milford riverfront district along the Little Miami River, according to the Clermont Chamber of Commerce. Whether local roads and services can keep pace with the county's record-breaking permit activity, and how 197 new households might affect traffic near the interstate, remain open questions as the development welcomes its first residents.
