Saturday looks mostly sunny with a high near 87, followed by a sunny Sunday near 89. That quieter weekend is a substantial change from the stormier setup highlighted in an earlier Hoodline forecast.

Low-90s Heat Returns Next Week

Monday and Tuesday are forecast to reach around 92 degrees under mostly sunny skies, with humidity building again. Heat index values could climb into the upper 90s to low 100s, while Wednesday stays hot near 91 with another chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Anyone with outdoor plans Thursday should keep a way to receive weather alerts, bring loose outdoor items inside and head indoors at the first sound of thunder.
