West El Paso has a new dinner-and-drinks arrival with ambitions that stretch well past the usual taco-and-margarita routine. María Titina is bringing a Chihuahua-born restaurant-lounge concept to the Sun City, pairing Mexican and international food with late-night cocktails and live music.
The concept recently opened after operating in Chihuahua for two years, with the team choosing El Paso as its first expansion move. Representative Leo Morales told KFOX14 that the goal is to offer something distinct from other local venues without splitting the experience between separate dinner and nightlife stops.
A Cross-Border Concept Built Around Dinner And Drinks
María Titina’s own website boils the brand down to three verbs: “Comer, Beber, Cantar” — eat, drink and sing. That pitch translates into a format that starts with a full dinner menu and gradually turns up the volume as the evening moves toward its lounge hours, according to the restaurant’s official website.
The food lineup includes USDA Choice rib eyes and New York strips, arrachera, slow-roasted short rib, pastor and asada tacos, taco gobernador with a crispy cheese crust, guacamole with chicharrón, red shrimp aguachile and a cheese-covered burger ahogada. The cocktail program borrows from Latin music culture, with drinks inspired by Sebastián Yatra, Paquita la del Barrio, Maná and Luis Miguel, as well as themed shot collections and shot “cakes,” KFOX14 reported.
Late-Night Hours And Live Music
The restaurant is open Thursday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m., giving West El Paso diners a weekend option that can run from an early family meal into a much later night. Live music is scheduled for Friday and Saturday nights beginning at 10:30 p.m., with performances spanning mariachi, English-language rock and Spanish-language rock.
There is also a Thursday “Ladies Only” special offering two signature cocktails with the purchase of one. With food, music and drinks all folded into the same operation, María Titina is making a clear play for the increasingly valuable stretch of the night between dinner reservation and last call.
