
Two men were shot in the legs Saturday night in Brooklyn, and the person police say opened fire remains unidentified as investigators ask the public for help. Both victims were reported in stable condition after the shooting, according to an NYPD Crime Stoppers alert posted Tuesday.
The shooting happened at about 10:24 p.m. Saturday outside 619 Nostrand Avenue, in the 77th Precinct, according to NYPD Crime Stoppers. Police said the unidentified individual discharged a firearm, striking a 39-year-old man in the left thigh and a 42-year-old man twice in the left leg.
What Police Say Happened
The 39-year-old was taken to Kings County Hospital by private means, while EMS transported the 42-year-old there, the alert said. The person sought fled eastbound on Bergen Street before disappearing, according to police.
