Next Monday through Thursday will remain sunny and hot, with highs between 100 and 101 degrees and nighttime lows near 79 or 80. South winds will generally run 5 to 15 mph, with gusts up to 20 mph possible next Monday.
Outdoor plans will be most demanding during the afternoon peak, so residents should take frequent cooling breaks, drink water and avoid prolonged exertion in direct sun. The forecast offers little sign of a meaningful cool-down before the end of next week.
